Okay so it's been a while since I wrote. I apologize. And it's going to be even longer I just don't know what to write any more and it's really bugging me so I'm going to take February off At least a bit of it. So I'll try writing again in march.

ReplyDeleteI am the proud mom of a 7 yr old boy who has autism. Long story short, he got diagnosed last May, in '09, just 4 months after we adopted Shadow, who was in foster care and ready to go to PAWS after she had a litter of puppies. We trained her with basic obedience stuff were amazed at how smart she is and quick learner. We brought her to the park and were told "no dogs allowed". So we looked into what it took to have our dog at the park with our son and after some research I found Diana Miller's name from Helping Paws, right here in town! When I talked to her she praised this dog she had just finished working with and how she would like to work with one of the sibling. Wouldn't you know! we found out that our Shadow is Indy's sister! Shadow just finished her autisn Serevice Dog TRaining and Therapeutic Dog Training and got her certification on Dec. 31st '09.

It sounds like Shadow is very much like Chloe's Indy. I am so glad that you found Diana. She is AWESOME!
